Dr. Shradha Parsekar

Dr Shradha has an experience of one and a half decade of working in the public health system and conducting research. A recipient of Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Grant in 2018-19 and Global Surgery Fellow at the WHOCC in 2020-21, she has completed her PhD from Manipal Academy of Higher Education in 2024. She has worked with World Health Organization, International Initiative for Impact Evaluations, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Sangath and Government of Goa. She is a peer-reviewer for reputed public health journals, an editorial member of BMC Public Health, and has over 40 peer-reviewed publications. Her research interests are social and behavioral drivers of health, maternal and child health and psychosocial oncology.

Dr. Prachi Pundir

With a decade of experience in conducting systematic reviews and public health program implementation, Prachi has dedicated her life to the cause of quality and methodological rigour in evidence synthesis. She has worked in projects funded by the BMGF, USAID, DFID, Inclen trust International, UNICEF- Innocenti, and SPARC as part of diverse and multidisciplinary teams, and has led an Evidence and Gap Map funded by the World Health Organization. She is a peer-reviewer for high-impact journals and has over 30 peer-reviewed publications in national and international journals. Her research interests are in evidence synthesis methods and innovation, network meta-analysis, mental health, ethics related to AI in evidence synthesis, and maternal and child health.

Ms. Prashanthi Kamath

Research Consultant, C4ES

Prashanthi is a trained nurse and a graduate in public health from the Prasanna School of Public Health, Manipal. She has nearly six years of experience in public health research. She has previously worked with The George Institute for Global Health, the Institute of Public Health Bengaluru, and the Indian Institute of Public Health, Hyderabad. Her previous work includes implementation research to improve the quality of care for non-communicable diseases in rural Karnataka and strengthening early childhood development interventions in Hyderabad, Telangana. Over the years, she has developed interest in evidence synthesis and has conducted multiple scoping reviews. She also has experience in monitoring immunization programs. Her key areas of interest include evidence synthesis, maternal and child health, non-communicable diseases, primary healthcare, and implementation research.
